Mr Alfred Aderibigbe, the nurse who treated Senator Isiaka Adeleke before he died, on Thursday in Osogbo told a coroner inquest that he never administered a drug overdose on the late politician as was reported. Aderibigbe, while giving evidence before the coroner, Chief Magistrate Olusegun Ayilara, said all the drugs he administered on the late first civilian governor of Osun were in normal dosage. He also told the coroner that he had been treating the late senator in the last 15 years, adding that the drugs he administered on Adeleke the day he died were those the late politician gave to him. Monday Tony Okonkwo India’s Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has recovered 1.3 kilograms of fine quality Colombian cocaine stashed in 90 capsules from the stomach of a Nigerian , who had come to Delhi from Lome, Togo. According to The Times of India, the accused was taken to hospital where an X-ray confirmed the presence of foreign bodies in his stomach. He was kept in the hospital for two days during which he expelled 90 capsules containing 1.3kg cocaine. The Nigerian was identified as Monday Tony Okonkwo. He arrived IGI airport in an Ethiopian Airlines plane on February 6. “When we conducted a thorough search of his body and baggage, he denied having any drugs or banned substance with him. However, the NCB team got suspicious when he said that he had come to India regarding his business of wigs and hair, but was found travelling on a tourist visa,” said Rajender Pal Singh, deputy director general, NCB. After 4 years of hiding in Nigeria, the MD of an Indian Ponzi scheme has finally been arrested . Mir Sahiruddin, managing director of Green Ray International Limited (GRIL), was netted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), in Kolkata on Friday. GRIL, a chit fund company, allegedly cheated poor and unsuspecting investors of over Rs 1,000 crore on the pretext of providing them astronomical returns in a short span of time, and diverted huge money to Dubai and Nigeria through hawala brokers. “He had been hiding in Nigeria and returned India from Bangladesh a few days ago, on a Bangladesh passport by impersonating him as Ahmed Hussain. He frequently changed locations in Dubai and African countries. We will produce him in CBI court here either on Saturday or Monday,” said a CBI officer.

Davido reveals he will be releasing four singles soon. The singer revealed this piece of information via his Snapchat channel. Davido plans to drop new singles, four in number, as revealed by him on his Snapchat page. He also added that two of the songs will be catering for the African market, while the other two will be aimed at the world market. The ‘Baddest’ singer released an EP “Son of mercy” back in September 2016, which housed rave singles including ‘How long’ featuring Tinashe, ‘Coolest Kid in Africa’ that features Nasty C among others.
