Couple of weeks back, Google asked the public to give a name for its Android N OS which is likely Android 7.0. Of course, there were lots of suggestions and I think the most prominent were Nutella, Neyyappam amongst others. Well, Google has officially unveiled a name for Android N and it’s probably nothing you thought of. Google calls Android N, Android Nougat. Although, looking through the list of suggested names, Nougat was one of the top but didn’t have the biggest following and as I can rightly guess, you didn’t know it was gonna be called Nougat. Abi? Google also went ahead to unwrap a statue for Android Nougat and most people feel Google was being lazy with the design. Anyway, another pressing issue would be whether or not, Google will be retaining the new Android version as 7.0 or 6.1. Going by tradition and popular belief, it could be Android 7.0 Nougat.
