Tanushree Dutta on Monday slapped a Rs 10 crore maligning suit against Rakhi Sawant for blaming her for devouring medications on the arrangements of the 2008 motion picture 'Horn Ok Pleassss'. The claim comes a fortnight after Dutta had outed her 'Horn Ok Pleassss' co-star Nana Patekar of sexual mischief on the arrangements of a similar film.
Sawant, who had in the end supplanted Dutta in the film, hit back at her allegations, guaranteeing that the last had "expended sedates and was therefore oblivious for four hours on the set."
Dutta's attorney, Nitin Satpute, said that if Sawant neglects to react, she may confront discipline for a long time or a fine or both.
The 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne' performing artist, who has initiated the #MeToo development in the nation, had prior recorded a police grumbling against Patekar at Mumbai's Oshiwara police headquarters. She requested that Patekar be subjected to narco-investigation, cerebrum mapping and lie-indicator tests.
The #MeToo development in India has picked up force since Dutta's cases against Patekar with numerous conspicuous film and media identities, including Vikas Bahl, Anu Malik, Alok Nath, being gotten out for badgering.
